An extract from  "Love is all about adjusting", my novel:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Well, the next thing I knew was I was going as a guest to her house, this time to impress her family. Catherine was nothing but excited about the concept of introducing me to her family but I felt rather tensed, I always had the impression that her parents never liked me much, me being an archaeologist also didn't much appeal to them. Anyways for me Saturday was the last day of the week and I had enough and more time to prepare myself to be introduced to her family but after all my work, I hardly ever thought about this and I did not get time,I remembered on Friday night I got a call from Catherine asking that I had to come at her house around 7PM for dinner.

Catherine:"Hey,Joe, Are you all excited about meeting my parents?"
Me(I didn't wanted to hurt her feelings):"Yes dear, I can't recall when was the last time I was this much excited."

Catherine:"Wow...that sounds cool..Don't be late, we expect you to be here at 7."
Me:"Yeah, sure."

She was very happy and I was thinking whole night on what I had to talk to her parents, I even had a  dream that I was in an ocean when a shark came near me and bit me.

The next day evening I got a bouquet of the lilies that Catherine liked and set m journey to their house. When I rang the bell, I could hear hurried footsteps coming towards the door and I saw a bright smiled Catherine welcoming me to her home.

Catherine:"I would like you to be introduced to my cutie Pearl first. She is so very excited to see you."

I was confused, who was pearl after all, it's been only a considerable less time that we started dating each other and we were planning to get married when I didn't even remember half of her family members name, I hardly remember my relatives name, but I never show her that. So all in a hurry I followed her to meet Pearl, whoever that was (I thought of all possibilities from her aunt to her dog), but I was in for a great surprise when she opened her bedroom door and there Pearl was, a big ferocious tigress lying on a bed, which looked small compared to her size, she showed her teeth and growled while we entered.

I tried to turn around but Catherine had closed the door.

Catherine:"Isn't she cute?"

Me:" Yeah" (I couldn't see how a tigress with all that teeth and growls could be cute, but I didn't wanted to offend her feelings."

Catherine:"Go and give her a hug sweet heart, she has been waiting for you."

Me:"Well I think am fine here, is she hungry? I heard tigresses are more ferocious."

Catherine:"Oh, she just had her dinner, she is my pet. Let her see my dear soon."

Me:"Well I may look like a deer to her now. I just don't wish to visit a place I never had."

Catherine:"Which place?"

Me:"Her stomach." The tigress was growling while I got a furious look from Catherine. I understood love isn't that easy after all, it asks for a lot of adjustments.

The powerful Rosary

Today I wish to share with you one of the most powerful prayers in the name of the Virgin Mary, the Rosary which is one of the most famous prayers in Christianity, mainly followed by the Catholics.The Rosary is one prayer that I had always believed in and which gives a lot of peace to the mind and gets help from the mother of God, the virgin Mary.I hope this will help in your everyday life and I urge all to pray the rosary as much as you can.

The word Rosary comes from the Latin word Rosarium which can be depicted as a garland of roses or a garden of roses.The Rosary is considered to be provided by the Virgin Mary and is considered to be the most powerful weapon against the Satan. A true prayer using the rosary gives a heavenly feeling and gives us eternal blessings.

Many people have shown doubts regarding whether the rosary is powerful enough and to them I would say experience the prayer with the heart first and then you will never mistrust the power of the rosary. I consider myself very blessed to pray with the rose scented traditional rosary from Italy, blessed by Pope Benedict XVI. The rosary is a method by which we venerate the virgin Mary and thereby showing our respect to God himself. The Virgin Mary is the mother of Jesus himself, and for any person the first and foremost of all relations is the one with his/her mother. Virgin Mary stands as a golden door that opens to heaven and by the rosary and good deeds, she always helps us to reach the heavenly kingdom her son has entrusted to us.

Here I give a usual approved form of how we pray the rosary (see the pic to see the beads structure; as it has 53 small beads its also called 53 beaded rosary each depicting a recital of Hail Mary)

  • A sign of the cross on the Crucifix and then the Apostles' Creed;
  • An Our Father on the first large bead;
  • A Hail Mary on each of the three small beads with the following intentions (the theological virtues):
    1. For the increase of faith
    2. For the increase of hope
    3. For the increase of charity
  • A Glory Be to the Father;
  • Announce the mystery
  • An "Our Father" on the large bead
  • A "Hail Mary" on each of the adjacent ten small beads;
  • A "Glory Be to the Father";
  • (The Fatima Prayer is commonly added here, as a pious addition: "O My Jesus, Forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to Heaven. Especially those most in need of thy mercy.")
  • Announce the next mystery, again an Our Father on the next large bead, followed by ten Hail Marys on the small beads, the Glory Be to the Father, (and Fatima Prayer, cf. below) for each of the following decades;
  • In conclusion, Hail Holy Queen and a sign of the cross.
